What is ExplorerFocus?

ExplorerFocus is a focused file explorer for Windows 10 and 11, built for people who work in the same folders every day. Everything is organised around focus:

• Profiles with per-context tabs, each with its own configurable folder tree (filesystem and registry roots). • Encrypted vaults (new in 2.0): file names, folder names and contents encrypted on disk with AES-256. An open vault works like any other folder — tree, preview, search and file operations — and can be mounted as a drive letter for every other app. The format is Cryptomator's, both ways: vaults made here open in Cryptomator on Android, iOS, macOS and Linux, and existing Cryptomator vaults open here. Opening vaults is free; creating them is Premium. • Multi-pattern search with wildcards, plus opt-in global search across profiles. • Rich preview pane: source code (syntax highlighting), images, Office documents (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), PDF, RTF/OpenDocument, e-books, Markdown and media. • File operations with real information — per-file gauge, live speed and ETA, 6-way conflict handling, and history. • Remote access: SFTP, FTP/FTPS and WebDAV, plus Dropbox and OneDrive — with preview, upload/download, and edit-and-sync-back. • Record audio, video and the screen, scan documents, and save the sound of a video as MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, FLAC or ALAC — straight into the current folder. • Terminals (CMD, PowerShell, Git Bash) in any folder; automatic per-extension app associations; full dark theme; 16 languages. • PDF tools (new in 2.0.3): merge and split any PDF; with Premium, organize pages, turn pages into JPG/PNG, add or remove a password, and convert images and simple Word documents to PDF. The original is never touched.

Windows 10/11, self-contained single file, code-signed — no installation required.
