energyXT should be listed as discontinued software. The developer slowed to a glacial pace after releasing version 2 several years ago and the last bugfix release (claiming to version 3) came with an announcement that no further development was scheduled and any that might happen would be released as shareware. The developer still sells it, but it is buggy, incomplete, 32 bits only, and will likely never be fixed or updated again.

energyXT is an advanced but streamlined, multi-platform digital audio workstation (DAW) known for its speed, fast loading time and workflow features. MIDI and audio sequences are easily arranged through a familiar multi-track view while routing uses a powerful but accessible modular interface.
