What is Empryo?

Empryo works with the structure of a codebase: symbols, scopes, callers and dependencies. Its Genome maps those relationships so the agent can locate relevant code and inspect what a change touches. Language-server navigation and syntax-aware editing complement text search.

The desktop GUI includes a workbench for reviewing files, diffs and plans. The terminal TUI and headless CLI use the same engine. All three are available on macOS, Linux and Windows.

Project memory retains decisions and past bugs across sessions. Model routing lets different jobs use different providers or models, and agent workflows can include review steps. Empryo also supports MCP servers and hooks.
