What is Elementarium?

Elementarium is a structural finite element analysis application that runs in a web browser. The solver is C++ compiled to WebAssembly and runs locally on the user's machine, so no installation, licence server or remote solve queue is involved, and models are not uploaded to be analysed.

It models bars, beams, 3D frames, slabs, walls and shells, with quad meshing for surfaces. Analysis types are linear static, modal, linear buckling and second-order. Load combinations can be generated to EN 1990 or ASCE 7, and steel members can be checked to EN 1993-1-1 (cross-section resistance, with national annex parameters) or AISC 360. Each design check lists the governing combination, the position on the member and the code clause, and results export to PDF calculation reports. DXF drawings can be imported as underlays, and models exchange with other software through SAF.

Projects support real-time collaborative editing and keep working offline once opened.

A free plan includes the full solver for models up to 500 degrees of freedom. The Pro plan removes the size limit and adds combination generation and full reports. Students get a higher limit with a verified academic email.
