EkyNavy

EkyNavy is a digital sailing logbook built for real conditions at sea. GPS records your route in the background, even with the screen locked or in airplane mode, and any event (sail change, engine start, reefing, weather observation) is logged in one tap with position and time pre-filled. The log is shared with the crew in real time, or queued and synced once you are back online.

Before departure, download GRIB weather forecasts and tide times so they stay available offline for the whole passage. At anchor, a multi-device anchor alarm warns everyone on board if the boat drags outside the set radius.

Other features include a man-overboard (MOB) button, NMEA instruments over Wi-Fi (TCP/UDP), AIS targets with CPA/TCPA indicators, a community database of harbours, marinas and anchorages, multiple boats with crew permissions, maintenance and cost tracking, a crew manifest and sailing CV as PDF, and GPX, CSV and PDF export.

There is no advertising and no audience tracking in the app. Data is encrypted and hosted in Europe (GDPR). EkyNavy runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android and the web, in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, with a free plan and optional paid subscriptions.
