What is EffectDeck?

EffectDeck runs EffeTune's DSP on the audio of other apps on iPhone and iPad. Any app that shows a Now Playing transport in Control Center goes through the effect chain once you pick EffectDeck as the output, and the result plays on the speaker, wired headphones or AirPods you were using before. It includes over 100 of EffeTune's effects, among them parametric and graphic EQ, a headphone crossfeed filter, and convolution with imported impulse responses (true-stereo IRs such as BRIRs included) through IR Reverb. It can also host AUv3 effects, and JSFX scripts in builds from source (the App Store build leaves JSFX out). It needs iOS 27 or later and no jailbreak, it is free and open source under the MIT license, and it is not affiliated with the EffeTune project.
