Edgepad

Edgepad turns an Android phone into a trackpad, a media remote and a control panel for a Windows laptop. The trackpad handles one to four fingers, each corner of the phone holds a dial you slide for volume, brightness, media scrub or the app switcher, and there is a full on-screen keyboard and an editable gamepad.

It talks over Bluetooth Classic. The phone and the laptop pair once, the way a headset does, and after that they talk directly — no account, no Wi-Fi, no cloud service and no network. It works with no internet connection at all.

The laptop sends its own state back, so the dials show the real volume, brightness and playback position and follow changes you make on the laptop itself.

Two parts to install, both from the same GitHub release: an APK for the phone and a single self-contained exe for the laptop, which lives in the system tray. Windows 10 2004 or later; Android 12 or later.
