What is Eden?
Eden is an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator developed by Camille LaVey and the Eden team. It's based on Yuzu and Sudachi, and is built on a C++23 codebase with modern CMake tooling. It supports AArch64 and x86_64, and offers LTO and PGO builds. Eden is licensed under GPLv3, allowing users to modify the code under the license conditions. It's free and its source code is accessible to all.
Eden supports various controllers including Keyboard and Mouse, Xbox, DualShock, Joycons, and Steam controllers. It's multi-platform, compatible with Windows, Linux, Android, macOS, FreeBSD, and other operating systems. It emulates a full userspace environment for programs and system applets, and offers preliminary support for Atmospheres Homebrew Menu. Users can use ReShade, IPSwitch, or .pchtxt for game enhancement and customization.
