This website has a long history of losing accounts and having login issues. I suggest users to be careful of how much money you put in as you could be locked out of your account with no recourse.
Sad to say, we need a replacement for eBay.
Since 2025 Feb eBay now force a "tax" us all against our will, it is called buyerprotection. This fee varies, most will probably pay 4%.
My account, since 2003 with a great many transactions, 100% feedback since day 1.

Well I have been off & on eBay many years from its start. Sadly I am starting to hate buying things on it because there are so many sellers selling junk they get for next to nothing & trying to sell it likes its name brand. I have gotten many bad items off here over the years random from fake SanDisk media to crappy laptop coolers that have so little airflow that a nat could sit on top of them & not be moved. Once in a while though I do luck out & get some decent or good items. So far I have not had to much bad luck in buying older socket 1366 parts for my dual xeon server I use to game on & video edit. Its a hit & miss really.
Would I recommend using ebay? Yes, because there is so many good prices on some things that you would be robbing yourself not to at least try to find a few useful items. So I give eBay 3 stars, though my issues are not with eBay its self but instead some of the shady sellers.
I am satisfied with Ebay work. everything is convenient for me
Ebay is an excellent place to buy used items, but for a seller, they're terrible. They have way too many fees.
i try ebay for a month and i got a final value fee just for posting a item. thats not even the worst part, if i dont pay the government will deduct it from me from my pay checks. also the whole "you can make a living with ebay" is trash, don't trust it.
