Totally free, light, and fast! Supports browser integration ( you can any browser just like IDM ! ) I really recommend this as a perfect alternative to IDM.

I've used it for quite some time but the not-so-recent recent changes it has had have not been to my liking. Before, it was for me, the best free download manager. After a while they implemented an option to support their product where: you chose to show advertising or you gave away part of your CPU resources to be used for their purposes, I assume that's for mining. Now, the last time I downloaded it (at least the portable version) it did not offer me any of those options and while using it in my low-end laptop I noticed that I had certain performance issues, I went to look at the Task Manager and I noticed that Eagleget was using between **50-60% **of my CPU resources that is not even good (2.1GHz). I went to review all the options to see if I could -somehow- disable that but I didn't see anything related and that's why I fully stopped using this app, a disappointment as it made good competition to IDM.
Easy to use. Just copy the URL and confirm. That's all.
I take back my earlier statement about spying, I was unaware of luminati which is a proxy service that comes bundled. They are very open and honest about this and do not hide the fact. By light years, the fastest downloader I have ever used for both youtube and files.
This downloader gets lots of praise. I have it along with Free download manager ver. 4.… It has changeable skins and overall all the functions for one's convenience. I couldn't integrate it with a chromium browser though. These days download managers are only justified for files over 1 Gb.
Bad Compability toward browsers and Require Permission before downloading the files
It's lightweight yet powerful with a lot of tools to download videos and audios from the Internet.
