What is Duck.ai?
Duck.ai is a feature that allows you to have private conversations with 3rd-party AI chat models, anonymized by us. Anthropic’s Claude 4.5 Haiku, Meta’s Llama 4 Scout, Mistral AI’s Mistral Small 3 24B, and OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini, GPT 5 mini, and gpt-oss-120b are available to use for free.
In addition to all of the models available in the free version of Duck.ai, DuckDuckGo subscribers also get access to the additional, advanced AI models. Subscribers on the Plus plan get access to GPT-4o, GPT-5.2, Claude Sonnet 4.5, and Llama 4 Maverick. In addition to the Plus plan models, subscribers on the Pro plan also get Claude Opus 4.6, higher reasoning effort than Plus, and 2x higher usage limits than Plus.
Each model relies on unique algorithms and datasets and will respond to your prompts differently. You can use Duck.ai to get answers to questions, compose an email, summarize text, or just have an interesting conversation. Navigate there directly, or move from traditional search results to ask follow-up questions.

Makes you able to use different AI models for free without an account. Absolute banger
Now called Duck.AI, it does not have its own proprietary model. It aggregates and proxies third-party models like GPT-4o mini, Claude Haiku, Llama, and Mistral via partnerships. It's one way to run with several popular small/fast models.
For me it's the best private alternative to the ChatGPT app for mobile devices, I also like to use it in the browser. The only feature I'm missing is renaming the chats.
Dont like it, DuckDuckGo is supposed to respect privacy but it doesnt :/
