dropto.run hosts static websites and documents. Drag a folder or a .zip into the browser, or publish from the command line or an AI agent, and the site is live on its own HTTPS subdomain.
Publishing from AI agents: an open-source MCP server and CLI (MIT) let any MCP client - Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code and others - publish a page or a whole folder and get the link back. Anonymous publishing works without an account; the site can be claimed later.
More than HTML: Markdown folders become a documentation site with a file tree, table of contents, Mermaid diagrams and KaTeX math. PDF, Word, Excel and EPUB files are rendered in the browser, and the original file stays downloadable.
Client review: invite people by email and make a site invite-only, or protect it with a password. Reviewers pin comments to the exact spot on a page. The agent can read those comments through MCP or the CLI, change the site, republish to the same address and reply in the thread.
In-browser editor: edit files, upload, delete and create folders directly in the dashboard, then publish a new version.
Also included: version history with one-click rollback, custom domains with automatic HTTPS, form submissions without a backend, traffic analytics, scheduled takedown, QR codes, and single-page app mode.
The free plan has no limit on the number of sites and sites do not expire. Paid plans start at $5/month and add custom domains, password protection and version history; Pro ($15/month) adds invites, comments and the editor. Team plans are available.
