What is DroidEdit?
DroidEdit is a text and code editor for android tablets and phones with the following features:
Syntax Highlighting for several languages (C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Groovy, JSP, Perl, SQL, XML, Lua, …) Several color themes Infinite undo & redo Search & replace Auto & block indentation Maintain opened files and changes between sessions Open files directly from dropbox or a file manager Character encoding support Keyboard shortcuts Share documents with other services (dropbox, email, ftp, …) Preview HTML files in browser Bracket matching Go to line SFTP support (paid version only)
DroidEdit is specially useful for new generation android tablets with external keyboards like the Asus Transformer.
App still appears to work but last update is from September 30, 2017.

JavaScript syntax highlighting is outdated. Does not support template literals. Additionally, syntax highlighting blocks the entire app, and causes it to become unresponsive and laggy every time you scroll new code into view.
