really nice-looking F-Droid client, active development with actual implementation of requested features
Use to be a great alternative f-droid client after the UI change the whole app became extremely clunky. Everything about it is not smooth, the search doesn't display properly if you enable search bar on bottom, freezes when you choose to download an app download bars freeze & you don't know if it installed or not till you restart the app. Includes extra repos that f-droid does not which a handful fail to update when choosing sync also not all repos are fuly open source some include apps which are partial open source.
The app needs an overhaul the layout of this new material you UI is fat, stretched, overpadded, & ugly. It should be sleek lightweight, compact, & most importantly fast loading. The spacing with all the overpadding is feeling like a double space for every button. The search button overlays descriptions & cuts off useful info where it's positioned.
I would use an older version before the UI change it's a better experience but this store needs work before it could be an amazing alterative. One thing it does have that f-droid does not is the ability to import & export your settings including added repositories which I wish f-droid would have.
Much better UI than the default F-Droid client and seemingly solid (developer) background
The automatic updates on a rooted device are very convenient.
Active development and nice user interface
I love it. Beautiful F-Droid client with Material UI. Nothin 'else to say.
