The software provides collaborative writing models like General, Romance, Fantasy, and Pure Love. Users can control the length and completeness of the AI-generated sentences.

Dreamily also lets users share their stories as images and create their own universe, complete with a background story, character and object entries, and inter-character relationships. The software remembers the details of the user's world to assist in its completion.
