What is DPP Hero?

DPP Hero is a self-service software for digital product passports, specifically for batteries in the EU market. It becomes mandatory on February 18, 2027, for electric vehicle batteries, LMT batteries, and industrial batteries above 2 kWh.

The software allows manufacturers and importers to enter product data in seven steps. Each passport is published as a public product page with a QR code, and content can be exported as PDF and JSON. The application is browser-based and hosted in the EU, with an auto-save function for concurrent edits. Custom domains are supported for public pages. DPP Hero is aimed at small and mid-size manufacturers and importers.

Pricing starts with a free test pass, and paid plans start at 49 € per month for 100 new passes. Additional features such as supplier links, bulk operations, and API access are available for larger plans. Prices do not include VAT, and subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
