DocFind

DocFind searches inside your PDF files for the words you care about, across many documents at once. Results show the file, the page and the surrounding text; tapping one opens that PDF at that exact page with the keywords highlighted.

Scanned PDFs are read on the device first, then searched like any other document. Matches found that way are labelled, and pages that couldn't be made searchable are reported rather than silently skipped. If a file can't be opened, hasn't been read yet, or has changed since it was indexed, DocFind tells you which ones and why.

Everything runs offline. Searching, indexing, reading scanned pages and exporting all work with no internet connection, and your documents never leave your device. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Indexing runs in the background, shows its progress, can be cancelled, and picks up where it left off. Export results as a CSV spreadsheet, a Markdown file, a PDF report, or a PDF of just the pages that matched.

Free: one library of up to 25 documents, 10 scanned pages and 10 exports every month, with unlimited keywords and results. Pro comes monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, and every plan unlocks exactly the same thing. PDFs only. iPhone and Android. Try the demo — sample documents, no setup.
