What is DOA - Device Optical Aid?
DOA (Device Optical Aid) is a free Windows app that adjusts your screen in real time to make it more comfortable to look at without wearing your glasses. It works by pre-adjusting what's displayed on screen, based on your prescription (sphere, cylinder, axis). The goal is a more comfortable screen experience for people who'd rather not put their glasses on just to use their computer. It also helps people suffering from color blindness (protans, deutrans and tritans) to distinguish colors better on-screen. DOA is an accessibility tool, not a medical device; it's not a replacement for glasses or professional eye care. It's designed for mild-to-moderate prescriptions; people with stronger prescriptions may not see much benefit yet. Currently free. In beta now!
