By using the menu on the top right and clicking "Restore Disk Image..." I managed to create a bootable manjaro usb drive. Seems to be somewhat little known. Since etcher is incredibly bloated because it requires a web browser to run (electron) this should be preferred.

Users can delete .iso image and eject drive with gnome-disk-utility 3.36.3 and UDisks 2.8.4 (built against 2.8.4) to create an image from scratch.

Users can create .iso images of optical media with gnome-disk-utility 3.36.3 and UDisks 2.8.4 (built against 2.8.4).

I cannot tell how good or bad .iso files can be.
