What is DeskPet Reminder?

DeskPet Reminder is a free Windows desktop application that turns ordinary reminders into delightful interactions with adorable animated pets. Instead of a plain system notification, your cute desktop companion pops up to remind you to drink water, rest your eyes, stretch, or focus — keeping you healthy and productive throughout the day.

Why you'll love it

  • Frequency-based reminders: set hourly water breaks, 20-20-20 eye-rest alerts, stand-up stretches, or any custom schedule.
  • Adorable pet collection: choose from cats, dogs, pandas, and more. A free starter set is included; 17 premium pets unlock with a one-time license.
  • Bring your own pet (Premium): upload a photo of your real pet and the app automatically removes the background, turning your furry friend into a desktop companion.
  • AI Assistant: just type like you're talking to a friend ("Remind me to have a meeting at 9 am tomorrow") and it creates the reminder for you, powered by Tencent Hunyuan.

Free vs Premium

  • Free: core reminder features and a selection of pets, no subscription, no ads.
  • Premium: one-time payment of US$19.90 (lifetime license). Unlocks all 17 premium pets, unlimited custom-pet creation, and all future premium pets for free.

Privacy & platform

  • Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Your reminders and custom pets are stored locally on your device. Only license validation, AI input, and custom-pet image processing are sent to servers; payments are handled by Creem, so your card details are never stored by the app.
