Jrnl is available across platforms. Jrnl journals can be encrypted. So if you don't need to store pictures, save social media posts, see your entries as inconsistently rendered Markdown, or be tracked with inaccurate mapping, you don't need Day One. Unencrypted Day One journals are partly compatible with Jrnl.
