AmpShell is a DOSBox front-end for Windows. The purpose of AmpShell is to make you run games in DOSBox with a simple double click. Includes a portable mode with DOSBox already installed.

An enhanced SVN build of the DOS emulator which incorporates unofficial features and fixes that are not officially part of DOSBox.






This is an x86 emulator written in pure Java based on the Dosbox project. It currently supports running Dosbox's built in DOS and well as booting into Windows 95/98/NT4.


DOSBoxLauncher configures and starts DOS applications (e.g. games) using a DOSBox app on the system. DOSBox itself is not part of this app and must be installed separately (see https://www.dosbox.com). A simple configuration with a few parameters is in the focus.
