CustID is a mobile identity vault built on the Nostr and SISTR protocols. It stores and manages multiple Nostr identities (keypairs), keeps private keys secured in the device's hardware-backed secure storage (Android Keystore; iOS Secure Enclave planned), and exposes them exclusively through controlled, auditable signing operations.

The app acts both as a NIP-46 remote signer and NIP-55 local signer, enabling other Nostr clients to request signatures without ever accessing the private key, and as a online and physical access credential, using NFC and/or QR codes to respond to cryptographic challenges from physical or digital access control systems (doors, gates, event ticketing, online services, etc.).
Features
🔐 Identity Vault
Stores and manages multiple Nostr identities (keypairs / nsec) on a single device
Works completely offline. Internet required only for NIP-46 signing (see below) and metadata / badges sync.
Private keys are protected by the device's hardware-backed secure storage (Android Keystore; iOS Secure Enclave planned soon™ maybe one day...)
Private keys are stored encrypted under a hardware-backed key and are only decrypted in memory for the duration of an operation, then immediately zeroed (encrypted storage in hardware does not mean every secp256k1 operation runs in hardware)
Manages identity profiles and details (metadata, profile photo and banner uploaded to Blossom servers, NIP-05 verification), NIP-65 relays and NIP-58 badges (award notifications, acceptance, sharing)
Identity export / backup is an encrypted NIP-49 ncryptsec only, never a raw key
