Corn Alternatives
Corn is described as ', an emulator for Nintendo - 64 running on the Windows OS. Corn is a very fast Nintendo 64 emulator. Unfortunately it isn't very accurate and it can only run a few games' and is an app in the Gaming Software category. There are nine alternatives to Corn for Windows, Linux and Mac. The best alternative is Project64, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Corn are Mupen64Plus (Free, Open Source), MESS (Free Personal), 1964 (Free, Open Source) and UltraHLE (Free).
- Project64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for the Windows platform. It employs a plugin system that allows 3rd party developers to implement their own software.
- Mupen64Plus is a plugin-based N64 emulator for Linux which is capable of accurately playing many games.
- MESS emulates portable and console gaming systems, computer platforms and calculators. The project strives for accuracy and portability and therefore is not always the fastest emulator for any one particular system.
- 1964 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Microsoft Windows, written in C and released as free software. It is one of the oldest and most popular N64 emulators, supporting many commercial N64 games.

- Apollo is a N64 emulator for Windows by Azimer. Also has a version of the HLE Audio plugin but no progress has been published in several years. In this year of idle activity in the N64 scene Azimer promises soon "something out the door".

- Sixtyforce is an emulator that runs Nintendo 64 games. It does this by dynamically translating the code that a Nintendo 64 uses into something your Mac understands.
