What is Copyboard?
Copyboard is a simple productivity tool to copy frequently-used text to your device pasteboard with just a single tap.
Create items that are displayed in an intuitive list: Each item displays a descriptive title alongside its copyable content. Tapping an item copies the text to the pasteboard for you to quickly share or use in other apps. Items can be organized using tags and favorites, and can be sorted alphabetically, by date, or by the number of times they’ve been copied. A search bar allows you to find a specific item using its description. Simple & fast, that’s Copyboard.
Copyboard uses iCloud so your list is automatically synchronized across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. All your data stays private to you.

Not rating this as I haven't tried it. But as it's proprietary, how can you ensure those tiny bits of text data stay private?
Espanso is nice and convenient. I can't imagine having to search through a list of things manually that I would need to often copy and paste. If it wasn't often, any hierarchy of notes would be sufficient.

Except for the moment your filters are ever disabled, and it automatically dumps it to a third party or itself.
And think of the increased attack surface of Universal Clipboard, the fact that apps can generally access the clipboard without explicit permission on Mac, the potential for the software to open a backdoor on your system, putting malicious code in your paste (think something like Rubber Ducky function). Not saying any of this would happen with this app, but any additional software you add can increase attack surface, even if you think it is sandboxed and firewalled.
