Sadly this hasn't been updated since 2005. It used to be a fantastic way to search for DBCS (unicode) text such as CJK (Chinese / Japanese / Korean) text hidden in .pdf or .doc files hidden inside .zip archives in a forgotten folder somewhere etc. - but it is in need of an update or replacement. Agent Ransack achieves much of what CoolFind used to do, on modern systems too, but there are some features which are lacking (like the scenario outlined above), and I've not found any alternatives which have them.
