Comments and Reviews
Clean and straightforward. It lets you download videos or quickly extract audio super quick.
no longer download from YouTube, but still can download from other sites.
You can still download videos from YouTube using another instance from this website: https://instances.cobalt.best/
Currently not downloading from YouTube.
Cobalt is a great way to download videos from various platforms. I have only used it for YouTube, but it appears as though it will work with several video streaming sites as well. One of my favorite features is that it runs as a web app so I don't have to download a dedicated app!
The site works perfectly!!
You can download videos and images from many services, including Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Bluesky, and (of course) YouTube (although with occasional problems since Google is still onto us about ad-free and high-quality downloads...)
You can also use remux to fix any issues that your videos may have.
There are also a couple or so instances for the service as well, but for downloading YouTube videos, your best bet is pretty much to use the official instance: cobalt.tools
