What is CleanGeek?

CleanGeek reclaims disk space from the places it actually accumulates on Windows: browser and application caches, temporary files, crash dumps, delivery optimisation files, old installers and Windows Update servicing leftovers.

It shows what it found and how much each category is worth before anything is deleted, and you clean per category rather than all or nothing. The Windows Update leftovers are usually the biggest single win and the one most cleaners leave alone.

There is deliberately no registry cleaner. That category frees no meaningful space and does break things, so it is not included and will not be.

Free for personal and commercial use, with no Pro tier, no adverts, no bundled offers, no account and no telemetry. Open source under GPL-3.0. The .NET 8 runtime is bundled, so there is nothing to install first.
