What is claude-tg-bot?

claude-tg-bot is an open-source Telegram bot that drives the Claude Code CLI on your own Linux or WSL machine. It starts real Claude Code sessions inside tmux, one per project folder, so each session works in the real repository with its CLAUDE.md, skills, MCP servers and permission rules.

Sessions run in parallel: start a task in one project, open another, and the first keeps working. Its answer arrives captioned with the session name. Claude's interactive questions and permission prompts arrive as Telegram buttons. Context usage, 5-hour and 7-day limits and session cost are read from the status line without spending tokens.

Sessions started by hand in a terminal can be moved into tmux and continued from the phone, and you can pick up the same tmux session at your desk. Works where the built-in remote control is disabled by policy. MIT licence, interface in English and Ukrainian.
