What is Claude Code Tray?

Claude Code Tray is a native Windows tray app that draws your Claude Code 5-hour and weekly rate-limit usage as a live, DPI-aware icon. It projects when the current pace would reach 100% and turns the icon red, with a notification, when that comes before the window resets. The tooltip shows both windows, extra usage and the time to reset; the app also shows per-session token cost at API list prices and audits what each project loads into context before the first prompt. Install with winget (alegauss.ClaudeCodeTray) or the per-user installer; it updates itself from GitHub Releases. It reads the login Claude Code already stores, so there is nothing to configure. Unofficial, not affiliated with Anthropic.
