What is Chefo?

Chefo is an R&D workspace for drinks and menus. It helps independent cafés, beverage teams, and freelancers develop new drinks, shape full menus, and refine what they already serve—with recipes, costs, and selling prices kept together so every idea can be checked before it goes live.

Use Chefo to explore drink and menu concepts from a brief, an ingredient list, or an existing recipe; adapt ideas to real equipment and prep constraints; and turn drafts into clear recipes and tech cards the team can follow. Build whole menus or individual drinks, cost each serve, see margins, and iterate in chat or by hand when the brief, the budget, or the bar setup changes.

When ingredient or supplier prices move, Chefo helps you review the impact and decide on a safe next step—reprice, rework the recipe, or substitute—without guessing from a spreadsheet. Keep a shared library of drinks and menus, share links and print-ready cards, and use version history so one drink or menu change can be reviewed or rolled back.

Chefo is built for drinks and menus in general—coffee, tea, matcha, non-coffee, and seasonal sets—not only espresso classics. It is not a POS, inventory, or accounting system. It focuses on R&D, costing, and reviewable menu decisions, so tasting and service still happen in the real world, with clearer numbers behind every change.
