    It has no framerate drop glitches as cheese does. Also the image it produces is more bright and sharp in my opinion.

    Cheese stopped working with the latest version of Debian. I like guvcview because it works with my webcam, and it's lightweight - webcamoid required more than 50 other packages to be installed, guvcview only 4.

    In cheese the FPS is not displayed whereas qtcam display that, Also the image control settings have only 4 settings and qtcam have 10+, colorspace switching is also not possible in cheese
