What is Checkmeup?

Checkmeup is a monitoring platform for people who maintain other people's websites — freelancers, solo developers, and small agencies juggling a dozen client sites. It covers six failure modes in one dashboard: cron jobs that silently stop running (ping a URL at the end of each job; miss it and you're alerted), uptime checks as often as every minute with keyword and JSON-assertion checks, SSL certificate expiry, domain registration expiry, raw TCP port checks for mail servers and databases — including an inverted "should stay closed" security mode — and DNS record monitoring that catches a hijacked or accidentally changed A, CNAME, MX, TXT, or NS record. Alerts go to Telegram, Slack, email, generic webhooks, or SMS, with per-monitor mute toggles and maintenance windows for planned work.

Every plan also gets white-label public status pages at checkmeup.net/status/your-slug — your logo, embeddable SVG badges, and incident updates from Investigating to Resolved, with no login required for visitors — plus 90 days of check history and a read-only API for reading monitor status programmatically. Pricing is Hobby $0 (10 monitors, no credit card), Solo $9, Startup $29, and Enterprise $99 per month, with two months free on annual billing and no per-seat fees. Built in Go and Vue on PostgreSQL, hosted in the EU, and source-available under BSL 1.1 — self-hostable for any purpose except reselling it as a competing monitoring service.
