ChatOKF

ChatOKF is a chat assistant that runs the whole language model locally on Apple Silicon. Your messages are never sent to a company: the model sits in your Mac's memory and runs on its own chip.

Features:

• Ask anything, with optional step-by-step reasoning you can read, cut short or turn off
• Drop in PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets and ask about their contents
• Attach photos; some models also understand audio and video
• Optional Wikipedia, web search, news and weather lookups, each behind its own switch; airplane mode turns them all off
• Voice input and spoken replies in eight voices
• Memories stored as plain-text notes you can read and delete
• Choice of open models (Gemma 4, Qwen3.5, Qwen3.8, Ternary Bonsai); only models your Mac can hold are shown

Models are downloaded once, integrity-checked, then work offline. No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics. Also installable via Homebrew (brew install --cask chatokf).
