Cellarion is a free wine cellar app for keeping track of a home wine collection. Log each bottle with vintage, producer, region, price, rating and tasting notes, and see exactly where it is: cellars and wine fridges are laid out as rack grids, with a 3D view of the room.

I was unhappy about unexpected (commercial) changes from other big digital wine cellar providers. The open source and independent approach of cellarion is amazing, and the speed of new features is outstanding. Give it a go.

What is Cellarion?

Cellarion is a free wine cellar app for keeping track of a home wine collection. Log each bottle with vintage, producer, region, price, rating and tasting notes, and see exactly where it is: cellars and wine fridges are laid out as rack grids, with a 3D view of the room. Every wine gets a drink window, and Cellarion alerts you when a bottle reaches its peak.

Add bottles by scanning the label with AI or the barcode, by picking them from a shared wine registry, or by importing from CellarTracker, Vivino, Ploc or a CSV file. Cellars can be shared with family and friends. The app also has a tasting journal, a wishlist, collection statistics, printable wine lists, and a Home Assistant integration. You can connect Claude or ChatGPT and manage the cellar by chatting.

Every feature is free, with no ads. Cellarion is open source (AGPL-3.0), GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU. Your whole collection exports to JSON at any time, and you can self-host it with Docker.
