They charge $15 for this on Steam (Sure, it ads a FEW extra features on par with the Wii release... but then doesn't update further to be on par with the "newest" Switch version) So, def take the free version from the CaveStory website.

It was created by Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya over a five-year period and independently published in December 2004. The game was and continues to be met with near-universal critical acclaim, and many consider it to be the quintessential indie game, citing its one-man development team and influence on the gaming world.
