Castreon is a self-hosted live TV and streaming headend for Linux servers. One web panel takes a channel from input to viewer.

Transcoding: CPU or GPU (NVIDIA NVENC, Intel Quick Sync, VA-API) in H.264, HEVC or AV1 up to 4K, with ABR ladders, logo and loudness normalisation, or transmuxing without re-encoding.
Delivery: HLS, LL-HLS, DASH, HTTP-TS and WebRTC with an embeddable web player, push over SRT, RIST, UDP and RTMP/RTMPS, HLS upload to CDNs, multiple CDNs with content steering, signed links and cache purging. Built-in HTTPS with automatic Let's Encrypt certificates.
Operations: 24/7 channels from files with playlists and a weekly schedule, archive with catch-up and timeshift, MP4 clips and scheduled recordings, SCTE-35 ad markers, HLS AES-128 and DRM (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay), audience statistics, picture and sound monitoring, a monitoring wall, alerts by email, Telegram or webhook, Prometheus metrics, a documented REST API and two-step login.
