What is Callout?

Callout uses AI to perform first-pass construction drawing reviews against building codes and standards. Engineers upload PDF drawing sets, select from 33+ supported codes (IBC, IMC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and more), and receive a structured list of findings with severity ratings, exact code section citations, and suggested resolutions.

Each finding includes a confidence rating (High, Medium, or Low) so reviewers can triage efficiently. Engineers accept, reject, or edit each finding, and those decisions calibrate future reviews to match their judgment, without any model fine-tuning.

Firms can add plain-English standards (e.g., "Minimum 36-inch clearance on service side of all HVAC equipment") that get checked alongside model codes. Local and state jurisdiction amendments can be uploaded and cross-referenced against base codes during review.

Callout covers 7 disciplines: mechanical/HVAC, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, energy, and fire protection. All disciplines can be reviewed in a single pass. Results export to CSV, Excel, or PDF, and read-only shareable links can be generated for team collaboration.
