What is CalibRaw?

CalibRaw is a free and open-source, non-destructive RAW photo editor for Linux, Android, Windows and macOS.

It uses a familiar Lightroom-style workflow with a native interface and GPU-accelerated image processing. It includes a photo library and culling workflow, curves, HSL and Point Color controls, color grading, local adjustments, brush/gradient/shape masks, lens correction, HDR merging, advanced Bayer and Fujifilm X-Trans demosaicing, and a range of creative effects.

Optional AI tools run locally on the device and include subject, sky and object masking, AI denoise and object removal.

Edits are stored non-destructively in .calibraw sidecar files, leaving the original RAW files untouched. CalibRaw supports a wide range of camera RAW formats through LibRaw and Rawler and can export to formats including JPEG, PNG, TIFF and JPEG XL.
