What is bulleye?

bulleye is a free ebook reader for Windows and Linux with the feel of a PDF reader. It opens EPUB (Electronic Publication), MOBI (Mobipocket) and AZW3 (Amazon Kindle Format 8) files. Books scroll continuously from one page to the next, and the page count stays the same when you zoom or resize the window. You can switch between one-page and two-page views, add bookmarks, and come back to exactly where you stopped. You can also see the estimated reading time for a book being read. The library shows covers, reading progress and last-opened dates, and you can sort by title, author, date added or last opened. Add a whole folder of books at once. For study and research it has highlights in four colours, notes attached to any passage, search inside the book, a dictionary lookup for selected words, and copy-and-paste of text. Read aloud uses the voices already installed on your computer. Auto scroll helps with hands-free reading. There are four themes (Dark, Light, Sepia and Black) and a choice of accent colours. bulleye is free, has no ads and needs no account. It updates itself. It cannot open books protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management). bulleye is constantly being worked on and updated, the list of features are currently expanding.
