What is Bulk Email Checker?

Bulk Email Checker is an email verification and validation service that has been running since 2012 and has processed over 12 billion addresses. It confirms whether a mailbox actually exists by opening a live SMTP connection to the destination mail server, rather than relying on syntax and DNS guesses alone.

Every address runs through two layers. The validation layer performs 16 static checks including RFC 5321 envelope syntax, DNS and MX lookups with A record fallback, reserved TLD rules, a live IANA TLD feed, a disposable database of 311,000+ domains, role account classification, freemail detection, gibberish entropy scoring, and Levenshtein typo correction. The verification layer then performs a deep SMTP handshake with anti-greylisting to confirm mailbox existence.

Upload CSV or TXT files for bulk list cleaning, or integrate the real-time API into signup forms, checkout pages, and CRMs with sub-second response times. Results include mailbox status, catch-all and spam trap flags, typo suggestions, and a full MX enrichment block with IP, hostname, country, city, ISP, and ASN at no extra cost.

Additional features include ESP integrations with Mailchimp, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, Mailjet, and Mandrill for automatic bounce syncing, an account-level blacklist where previously failed addresses reverify for free, team accounts with role-based permissions and shared or allocated credit pools with no per-seat fees, a WordPress plugin for comment, registration, and contact form validation, and native Google Sheets and Excel spreadsheet integration.

Pricing is pay-as-you-go with no contracts, starting at $9.95 for 10,000 verifications and dropping to $0.00075 per email at 100,000. Credits do not expire. A separate Unlimited API plan offers flat-rate monthly billing with thread-based concurrency up to 50 parallel threads and no volume caps.
