With more fps rate, widescreen support and many other features' and is a first-person shooter in the games category. There are five games similar to BuildGDX for Windows, Linux, Mac and BSD. The best BuildGDX alternative is GZDoom, which is both free and Open Source. Other BuildGDX like games are Raze, eduke32, LZDoom and ECWolf.
