What is Bugdet Zen?

Budget Zen is a simple budget & expense management app.

Take back control of your budgets in a simple way, and achieve piece of mind.

Privacy-focused

Private by default. End-to-end encrypted. Only you see your data.

Simple to use

No income definition or confusing settings. Add budgets, expenses, and see the total spent and what's left. Simple.

Self-hosted

You can easily self-host it yourself. Or pay for the cloud/hosted version.

And what else?

All features revolve around automation and providing less stuff to do or configure, so you have things like automatic budget categorization (based on previous expenses), and automatic budget copying for the following month. You can even create recurring expenses.

Additionally, you can import and export budgets and expenses via JSON, and the app has its source code available in GitHub, so you're not locked-in.
