What is BrowBro?

BrowBro is a free, open-source, native Swift + SwiftUI menu-bar app for macOS. When you click a link anywhere on your Mac, BrowBro pops a compact picker right at your cursor, letting you choose which browser, or which specific Chrome profile, should open it, using either the keyboard or mouse. You can customize which browsers and Chrome profiles appear in the picker, toggle each one on or off, and drag to reorder them (your 1–9 quick-keys follow the new order). Chrome profiles are treated as first-class targets alongside full browsers. Built in the spirit of Velja, BrowBro is fast, native, and stays out of the way. It has no ads or tracking, requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and can be installed via Homebrew.
