What is Briefpanel?

BriefPanel is a self-service website change monitoring tool for businesses. You paste a URL, say in plain words what matters on that page, and BriefPanel checks it on a schedule you choose.

Instead of telling you "the page changed", it reads the page as a list of items (products, pricing plans, job posts, notices, changelog entries) and keeps a history for each one. When something changes you see which item it was, which field moved (price, title, date, status), and the value before and after. Items that are added or removed are recorded too.

What you can do with it:

  • Track competitor pricing pages, plans and product pages
  • Watch prices and availability in stores and supplier catalogs
  • Follow changelogs, release notes and API documentation
  • Monitor policies, terms, regulations and public notices

Features:

  • Works on any public page, with no scraper to build or maintain
  • A custom AI prompt to define which changes matter and which to ignore
  • Follows the item pages linked from a list page when the details live there
  • Alerts by email, browser push, Slack or Discord, plus daily or weekly digests
  • AI summaries in your preferred language
  • REST API and MCP server to read changes from your own tools and AI agents

Pricing is pay as you go with credits: one credit per page read, no subscription. You can start free without a credit card.
