    Wine is not an alternative because Bottles uses Wine. So this should be de unlisted.

    While it's the tool Bottles uses to run Windows applications on Linux, it can be used alone instead of Bottles. So while it's an alternative, it's not really a good one; it's much less user friendly, and Bottles includes a lot of extra fixes.

    Lutris provides similar configuration features and automatic installers like Bottles, and because it runs in a non-Flatpak environment, there’s no hassle with file handling. For me, it works more reliably than Bottles.

    lutris has quite a bit more in common with bottles than retroarch does, for instance lutris can manage wine prefixes.
