What is Boromlia.com?
Boromlia is timeline software, licensed as a hosted web application. You record events one at a time. Each has a date, a place, whatever you want to write, and the media that belongs to it. Drop in a folder of photos and it can fill most of that in by itself, reading the date and place each photo was taken.
The same set of events can then be viewed different ways, without entering anything twice: as a timeline, as a map of the places, as a deck of cards, as a sortable table, or as a story you can read start to finish. Switching between them is one click, and the events underneath never change.
People use it for family history, for a life told in milestones, for holidays and hiking trips. It works for anything that happens in order: a course, a renovation, a project at work, a story being followed over months. Nothing is public until you decide, and what you share is a read-only link.
