BoltSweep

BoltSweep is a fast desktop email client for Windows, macOS and Linux. It has Outlook's layout and keyboard shortcuts with a cleaner design, and keeps your mail on your own computer.

• Folder tree, message list and reading pane on the right or bottom
• Outlook keyboard shortcuts, or the Gmail, Thunderbird, Apple Mail or Vim set
• Microsoft 365 sign-in; mail is sent through Microsoft Graph where SMTP AUTH is turned off
• Unified inbox, conversation view, snooze, rules, colour categories and Quick steps
• Push mail with IMAP IDLE and desktop notifications
• Fast local full-text search, plus server search for older mail
• Outlook calendar, contacts and tasks
• Remote images and tracking pixels blocked by default
• AI assistants over MCP (Claude, Cursor and others), and built-in AI with your own key or a local model like Ollama (Pro)

Mail goes directly between your computer and your provider. BoltSweep runs no mail servers, shows no ads and sends nothing about your mail or how you use it.

Free for one account. Pro ($49/year) adds unlimited accounts, built-in AI, shared mailboxes and more.
