BlueStacks
An easy to use emulator that allows you to run Android Nougat apps on your Mac or Windows computer.
What is BlueStacks?
BlueStacks runs Android OS and apps on Windows PCs with instant switch between Android and Windows - no reboot is required. End consumers can now enjoy their favorite Android apps on Windows PCs. Android apps can appear either as icons on the Windows desktop, or within a full-blown Android environment.
BlueStacks helps PC manufacturers to ride the Android momentum by enabling Android apps on x86-based tablets, netbooks, notebooks, convertibles and AiO Windows PCs. With the new hybrid convertible form factors, BlueStacks completely eliminates the need to carry two devices. The end consumer benefits from getting both Android and Windows at the price of a single PC.
BlueStacks integrates seamlessly with Citrix and Microsoft software delivery infrastructure and with Citrix’s Enterprise App Store. With BlueStacks, enterprise IT can deliver Android apps securely and effortlessly to any end point running Windows.
The seamless user experience, simultaneous use of Android and Windows apps, and multi-touch enablement are built on ground breaking virtualization technology which requires zero configuration and is transparent to the end consumer.
The emulator automatically installs sponsored Android apps together with yours

bonkintimethinks WayDroid is an alternative to BlueStacks
If you're technologically proficient and adjust the settings accordingly, you can even run multiple instances. Great for those gacha degenerates. There's numerous educational apps on the Play Store, but I don't having to stare at a phone for long periods. I don't use BlueStacks for gaming like many others do.
much better than the competition both in performance and in simplicity!
The worst thing you can do for yourself is to install this crap. Lagging pretty badly, freezes out of nowhere, takes centuries to load simple action like, opening an app you want to use, not to mention draining your RAM and CPU. I am here to find alternative for this junk
I was unable to attempt to use bluestacks, despite my desire to do so, because it does not currently (as of 9/5/21 version 4 for Mac) support the Apple M1 chip. I am still searching for an emulator to run android apps on.
This stupid shit doesn't even fucking install on my goddamn machine anymore. Fuck this app.
Bundleware and ads.... Did you know you can emulate Android 7 in VMWare using the latest LineageOS .iso instead? It works beautifully and is privacy friendly. The only downside is a little lag, and less speed. But if you just need to use Android apps on your PC, try it out. You can even add your Gmail account and use the Play store.
Never work. "Could not start the engine" All settings reviewed again and again. "You can try restarting either the Engine or your PC" No help on the Internet. Lots of warnings. Same in Windows 10. Waste of time.
