What is Besidka?

Besidka is an open-source (MIT) AI chat app built around bring-your-own-key (BYOK). Add your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI or Qwen and switch between Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Kimi and Qwen models in one interface. You pay the provider directly at its published API rates: Besidka itself is free, with no subscription, no seat fee and no markup, and it shows the tokens and cost of every message.

Features include web search, deep research, image generation, image and PDF attachments that can be reused across chats, projects with shared instructions, shareable read-only chat links, and an installable web app (PWA). Optional AI gateways (Vercel AI Gateway, Cloudflare AI Gateway, OpenRouter) can be added on top of direct provider keys. Use the hosted version or self-host it on Cloudflare Workers.
